USA Swimming Membership
The organization that we compete in is USA Swimming. It allows us to be able to swim in USA meets and provides insurance as well as many other benefits to both athletes and coaches. Below is a description of the different types of membership.
*USA Membership is required for all athletes on GLAC
USA Seasonal Membership
A seasonal membership is valid for 150 days (typically used for one season Summer or Fall/Winter)
Cost $ 45.00
USA Year Round Membership
This membership includes summer and fall/winter seasons. This is the best option if you know that your athlete is going to swim year round.
Cost $75.00
USA Flex Membership
The Flex Swim membership offers the athletes an entry-level experience in the sport and sample some of the great benefits of membership in USA Swimming such as the ability to compete in meets (two meets per year), access to USA Swimming’s digital personalized member account Deck Pass, insurance coverage, education materials and more. When kids fall in love with the sport and want to swim more, they can then apply that to a seasonal or year round membership*, which offers unlimited swim meets, Splash magazine and more.
